FOREVER

FOREVER

Tell me do you now feel so much better
That now I have gone forever
Are things starting to come clear?
Now that I have disappeared
Harsh words had been spoken
They will all come back to you in future
Come and meet me by the river
And I will tell you something that will last forever.

Life is weird with its twists and turns
Now it’s just something we all gotta learn
Often the struggler gives up
When he might have caught the victor’s cup
How close he was to the golden crown
And he knew it’s too late especially when the sun came down
you told me to always fight for what you lost
And you promised me something when we were just young
Remember at the time when we hung
We went on about the fun and crazy things that went on back at school
You smiled at me even tho deep inside I knew there was something you hid
You looked at me in the eye and took me by real surprise
I stood there in amaze and wondered why
Then things got so bad with you
And you told me to stay out with the things you were going thro
So I did I just had to allow people get to you, made me grit my teeth
I got caught up in it and then I felt like I’m the one who caused it
Then there was a grudge against me like I did something
You said you had to hit the airport
And staying here wasn’t safe no more
I kept telling you that I was sorry
And that it was never my intension to hurt you
But I really knew you weren’t hitting the airport
Because just the next day I saw you

Tell me do you now feel so much better
That now I have gone forever
Are things starting to come clear?
Now that I have disappeared
Harsh words had been spoken
They will all come back to you in future
Come and meet me by the river
And I will tell you something that will last forever.

You put up your hood up and hid your face
I screamed your name you turned and looked
Shuffled your feet as tho you wanted to reach
But the freaking cops beside you held you tight
Seeing the pain you were in just wasn’t right
Then I ran towards you
You moved real fast so the cops couldn’t get a grip of you
I heard you yell and I turned to my right
Just to hear and feel the shot
And that was the time when I had to drop
You caught me, rested my head on your knee
Just then my life flashed
Seeing you and I in the place that you described
Reached down into my pocket and pulled out a locket
You stared in shock on how long I had it
Your tears hit me like bullets
It was then too late to stop it, you heard my last breath
Then it was all over TV and papers
On how you shot me
The whole image just then changes
Just that night you couldn’t live with it
You found a gun on the ground
So you pulled the trigger and popped it!

Tell me do you now feel so much better
That now I have gone forever
Are things starting to come clear?
Now that I have disappeared
Harsh words had been spoken
They will all come back to you in future
Come and meet me by the river
And I will tell you something that will last forever.
